1 year on…… Can you believe it!

Ashley and Jess married in September 2019 in a picturesque church in Weatley Rocks and then whisked their guests off to a beautiful reception at The Heath House, Tean.

It was a wonderfully sunny day that complimented Jess’s choice of flowers of Sunflowers, Hydrangeas, Mookshood, and Craspdi. Bright pops of yellow and purple could be seen throughout the venue.

IT’S ALL IN THE PREPARATION…

One of my favourite parts of the day is walking into the bridal suite and seeing the excitement on the bride’s face. Jess was full of smiles the morning of her wedding, with her bridal party sipping champagne and her dog ruby exploring what Heath House had to offer.

Bouquets.

The main attraction when it came to the flowers was most definitely the Sunflower. It could be seen in all of the designs from Jess’s hand-tied bouquet to the candelabras on the tables. To complement the sunflowers we used Craspedia ( which our the small pom-pom style flower), Monkshood, Aster, Phlox, and a mix of greenery including Eucalyptus and Thlaspi. Also included were the everso sticking peacock feathers which we used in Jess bouquet. The bridesmaids had smaller versions without the feathers and all where finished in hessian.

Church and Venue Flowers.

Wanting to carry the theme throughout the day Jess decided on simple pew ends of Sunflowers and foliage, all finished with raffia bows that adorned the church aisle. Sitting at the altar of the beautiful and quaint church where two large arrangements and greeting the guest as they entered stood two free-standing arrangements.

At Heath House, we had the pleasure of dressing the already beautiful staircase. Using plenty of Ruscus, Eucalyptus, and trailing Ivy to create the garland we then added Sunflowers and Hydrangea to make a real statement. The wedding breakfast was served in the marquee that sat on the grounds of the house and this was decorated with tall candelabra’s that were again, busting full of the bright yellow and purple flowers.
